Promoting EXCELLENCE

At Abbotsford House we ensure all staff are trained to Informed and Skilled level in The SSSC Promoting Excellence framework, with many staff holding advanced level qualifications within this framework. This is a framework for all health and social services staff working with people with dementia, their families and carers. The SSSC Promoting Excellence framework details the knowledge and skills all health and social services staff should aspire to achieve in relation to the role they play in supporting people with a diagnosis of dementia, and their families, and carers. It is underpinned by values and principles that reflect what people with dementia, and their families and carers have said are most important to them.

Our family assisting your family to live life to the full

At Abbotsford, our care staff are highly trained and maintain a stringent and uncompromising standard of care. We operate via a set of standards and guidelines that we apply to all of our social services, health and in-house staff. These guidelines serve to ensure an unwaveringly high standard that is constantly maintained by our staff who have contact with and extend support, treatment, care and services for any of our residents. We also ensure we provide regular health check updates to family.
Our guidelines are strictly adhered to, and it is by never compromising or lowering our standards that we at Morrison Community Care have built a reputation as one of Scotland and Britain’s finest luxury care brands. Our deeply knowledgeable and empathetic staff draw on a wealth of knowledge and experience to continually develop new ways of working for all social and health services, ensuring we are able to help older people and those with dementia to optimise their rights, choices, health, comfort and ongoing well being.
